Senior Pastor

Pastor Karlberg has been ministering in Johnstown for over thirty years.  He has a great love for Johnstown, but an ever greater love for the Word of God.  Pastor Karlberg is known for a faithful ministry of careful love and truth. 

Family Life

Pastor Karlberg is married to his wife Pat, who works as a beautician in Westmont.  They have two adult children, Ben and Jill.  Ben is married to his wife Carly and is presently a medical student.  Jill is a beautician and lives in Johnstown.  They also have two dogs who they shamefully spoil, Hershey and Stitches.

Ministry Experience

Pastor Karlberg has worked at Trinity Presbyterian Church for the entire history of Trinity.  He was the pastor who planted Trinity in 1975 and has been at there ever since.  Before working at Trinity he had numerous positions working primarily with youth.

Education

Pastor Karlberg studied at Gordon College for his undergraduate degree.  He completed his MDiv at Covenant Seminary in St. Louis Missouri.  He followed his MDiv with ThM work at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and finished his distinguished academic work back at Covenant College with his D.Min.

Rev. Rodney E. Henderson

Associate Pastor of Young Families & Youth

Pastor Rodney began ministry at Trinity in August of 2006.  He is beloved by all for his great wisdom and his ability as the web developer who controls everything published on the web site.  He nevertheless believes wholeheartedly in the total depravity of humankind and the all sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice for God's people.  He passionately believes in the gospel.
